I wear a 7 in shoes and usually order 7.5 in boots for a little extra room (for boot socks). These fit just how I wanted them to at a 7.5, they are very well made, and so comfortable. Because the are a bit taller than my other paid of Timbs, I have noticed that it's taken a few wears for them to not be as stiff, but they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I bought the waterproofing spray directly from Timberland's website for some extra protection and to ensure longevity. I know that I will have these boots for years to come. The burgundy color is really beautiful as well.I was super hesitant to pay the full price ($150 when I was first looking at them), but I lucked out and they went on sale for $90! Great purchase.Fit and felt great right out of the box! One of my favorite brands is timberland boots. These are beautiful looking boots. Says waterproof but I will still have them pretreated.Bought mine a year ago and they still fit nice and keep my feet warm in the snow. Although one boot arrived with a significant amount of wrinkles and creases all over the leather fabric where the other one is very crisp with no creases.I tend to get peroneal tendinitis in my right foot, so I needed to invest in some solid, comfortable shoes with arch support. For reference, I hover between a 9M and a 9W depending on the shoe. These don't come in W, but they looked super cute so I bought them anyway and hoped for the best. I'm glad I did. These are incredibly comfortable as soon as you put them on - no break in required. My right foot (my larger foot) was a little snug in the toe, but not painfully so, and the material stretches out a bit after some walking. I have spent full days on my feet in these shoes with no negatives. If I had done that in my old cheap shoes my feet would be sore and my tendinitis would have flared up to the point of limping. And to top it all off they're super cute. Would definitely buy these again. One thing to note - I bought the grey ones, but I don't really consider this color grey. To me it's more a beige/taupe color. Very pretty, but if you're looking for a very obviously grey color then these aren't the shoes for you. They are comfortable however, they are narrow. The color is gorgeous! They will go with everything! They do seem a little stiff but I’m sure they will stretch after some wear.I just got these yesterday but I did not want to take them off. I'm prone to foot fractures and I needed a boot for winter that wasn't a snow boot. The color I got was the taupe and its more of a gray color and I was expecting something more of a tan color.I might need to put an arch support in at some point but these are the best boots I've ever owned.I'm usually a sneaker girl but my feet kept getting cold and slipping on ice so it was time for a boot.I own another pair of timbs in 7.5 that fit like a dream right away... I was worried when I received these bc they felt super narrow and I thought. I'm on day 3 of breaking in and wearing around the house and they are going to work out! If you have very wide feet they may not work out for you. They are gorgeous and exactly the brown work boot I was looking for! The orange at the top is a fun detail as well!I sprayed these with 2 coats of brand new spray that I purchased for these before wearing them to help with waterproofing. It made no difference in keeping them dry on the inside. If I wear them in a few inches of snow when walking my dog for 10 min, they will be instantly be damp on the inside. The photo showing moisture on the toe & heel, is all that's needed to make them wet inside. The last photo shows how cheap/hard these things are constructed. They easily feel like wood/cardboard. Not in the least warm as they are not even lined at all in the footbed whatsoever. They are easily the WORST boots I've ever owned! I'm comparing them to a pair that look similar I bought at Walmart. The Walmart boots are far more comfortable and a much higher quality boot that these ridiculously overprice, pieces of garbage. VERY heavy, uncomfortable, and cheaply constructed. I hate everything about them, except the way they look. I can tell they have a cardboard type material just under the VERY thin "leather" laid on top. THIS is why they are not "waterproof" They make a weird sound when walking in them too. Not the rubber sole but the upper part of the boot where your ankle bends. I too ordered a 1/2 size up and that was a huge mistake. I have very average/medium width feet, not at all narrow or wide and they absolutely feel a full size bigger. I had to immediately order some sherpa type insoles with some arch support because as you can see from the photos, the insole that came in this boot offers NO SUPPORT at all. Very flat. I was hoping they would also help with all the extra room I have. I can only wear thick socks for heat with them. The extra insole helps but I need to order new ones to help with making them warmer since these are not the least bit warm at all. I wish I had sent these back right away but I really needed boots at the time desperately. Big mistake to keep these. HUGE FAIL ON EVERY LEVEL TIMBERLAND! I WILL NEVER BUY THIS BRAND AGAINThese are my second pair in a different colour because the first pair in black are my 'go to' boots. So comfortable and look lovely. Not sure if Timberland has discontinued this style because they are hard to find. Such a shame if they have or I'd buy more.so comfortable - didn't even need wearing in - and look so goodThe gf loves the bootsLove the boots, very pleased. Thankyou.Perfect,,,, old petina look
