This shoe has minimal arch support, found only on the removable insole. As I need a higher arch in the shoe to give my flat feet comfort, these did not work for me. Could it be corrected? Yes, eliminating the insole from the shoe and inserting my own might work, but the provided insole is thin so I would have to size up in the shoe to fit a better insole.Regarding fit: the length definitely runs short. My other Vionic shoes are size 8.5 Med. I got this shoe in size 9 and it *just* fits in length, wouldn't mind a bit more length. My shoes are typically Med. width to accommodate my slightly wide, nearly squared off, toe area. These were OK in width without socks. The zipper plus lacing is great on these allowing for custom fitting. I have a higher instep and could adjust these comfortably.The provided insole feels like low quality and offers minimal arch height. I could not use it because it has a bump at the metatarsal area which is very uncomfortable to painful for me.These basically feel like cheap shoes. The soles are stiff offering little cushion. The "moss" color choice is a cute bright peacock, pretty much how it appears online on my iPad. If I were in a store to try on multiple sizes, I would consider these shoes, but for now decided to try a couple other brands seeking a better fit and decent arch support that would protect me from pronating.
